We’re hiring an Online Marketing Assistant!

The School of Social is a year-old online and offline training platform to upskill people in business on everything social media and digital marketing.  We’re based in Cornwall, yet our customers are everywhere.

We’re looking for a part-time marketing assistant who is going to be at the heart of the business. If you are passionate about good design, writing and have an excellent understanding of all things digital marketing… we’d love to hear from you.

This job role has huge growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in the field of marketing

  • Experience in graphic design

  • Enjoy writing excellent and engaging copy

  • Be highly organised

  • Good understanding of Social Media marketing

  • Have a desire to learn

We believe in ongoing training, so you will constantly be learning new skills.

Some of the job will include the following:

  • Organise workshops and  create events in EventBrite

  • Manage Social Media channels (Facebook, Facebook group, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest)

  • Design digital documents (free downloads, how-to’s etc) (in Canva)

  • Email marketing (using Mailchimp)

  • Manage Facebook advertising (training provided)

  • Manage website

  • Write blog posts

  • Manage webinars and live training events

  • Based in the Falmouth area (Cornwall)

  • Initially 2 days a week (flexible hours)

  • Salary based on experience
